Our Model
A Proven Approach to Community Impact
Different Mindset, Inc. works directly with immigrant women, women with disabilities, and survivors of abuse in the greater Hyattsville, Maryland area. Our model centers on three pillars that address the root causes of instability and create pathways to self-sufficiency.
We do not simply refer clients to services. We walk alongside them, navigating complex government and institutional systems, advocating on their behalf, and ensuring they access the resources they are entitled to. This hands-on, trust-based approach is what makes our work effective and our outcomes measurable.
Systems Navigation
We guide women through SNAP, Medicaid, housing programs, SSI, and other essential benefits systems, completing applications and tracking outcomes from start to finish.
Client Advocacy
We speak on behalf of clients (with consent) to agencies, organizations, and service providers, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Community Health
We connect women to health resources, wellness programs, and preventive care information, addressing both physical and mental well-being.
